Kisan Rath Mobile App –
18 April 2020 Current Affairs: The Agriculture Ministry has come with a new app called as Kisan Rath Mobile App. The main goal of the Mobile app is to connive transportation of food grains, and the National Informatics Centre cultivates it. The central government wants to make an ensure farmers and traders can find transport facility for Agriculture and Horticulture produce.
What is Kisan Rath Mobile App?
- The Kisan Rath App would provide facilitate farmers’ FPOs and Cooperatives across the country so that they can find a suitable transport facility to transfer their agriculture produce from the farm gate to markets.
- The Indian Govt has excluded CMVR, COP & Type approval applicable to Tractors, Power Tillers, Combine Harvesters and other self-propelled agricultural machinery by 31 December 2020.
- In addition, tractors Testing has been stopped by 31.12.2020 due to lockdown period and govt took step to extend the validity of the license of Seed dealers till 30 sept 2020.
