International Education Day 2024 – Every year, the International Day of Education is observed on January 24th. The fifth International Day of Education will be celebrated on 24 January 2024 under the theme “to invest in people, prioritize education”. However, in 2022, it marked the fourth year of celebration and the theme of International Day of Education 2022 was ‘Changing Course, Transforming Education’.
- In 2022, the Day was celebrated at the UN Headquarters in New York, Expo 2022 in Dubai, Harvard University Graduate School of Education, and Global Minnesota.

- In 2018, The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) designed this day to mark the importance of education in ensuring peace and development.
National Education Day
- National Education Day is observed every year on 11th November in India.
- it also marks the birth anniversary of India’s first Education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad.
