International Day of Human Fraternity – History
On February 4, 2019, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad Al-Tayyeb, and Pope Francis signed the historic document – Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together – was signed. On December 21, 2020, International Day of Human Fraternity was founded by the United Nations General Assembly. Since then, International Day of Human Fraternity has been observed on February 4 each year.
