Instagram Launches New Creative Tools For GenZ Consumers

Meta will start testing several product features including Birthday, Audio Notes, Selfie Video Notes, and Multiple Lists in Stories. These creative tools will help GenZ consumers creatively express themselves on the platform.

Instagram’s birthday was celebrated on October 6th and they turned 13 years old. Plus, the platform included 4 new features that would appeal to the GenZ audiences, and would soon start testing.

Audio Notes and Selfie Video Notes

Notes are the favourite among young people which can be used to share updates easily. Also, it is an important way teens communicate with their friends, right up there with DMs.

  • Audio Notes – will help you leave a voice recording as a Note.
  • Selfie Video Notes – will allow you to capture a short video that will loop in your Note for 24 hours.

Multiple Lists in Stories

This can be seen as a much-requested feature. Users will be allowed to create more lists beyond just Close Friends. You can now make lists for your different groups of friends, your family – whoever you want.
