India and US launch the Climate Action and Finance Mobilization Dialogue (CAFMD)
On 13th September 2021 (Tuesday), India and the USA have launched the “Climate Action and Finance Mobilization Dialogue (CAFMD)”. CAFMD is towards the India-USA Climate and Clean Energy Agenda 2030 partnership.
- Shri Bhupender Yadav (Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate) and John Kerry (USA) launched the dialogue in New Delhi.
- The dialogue will help in strengthening India-US bilateral cooperation on climate and environment.
- it will also help in demonstrating how the world can align swift climate action with inclusive and resilient economic development, taking into account national circumstances and sustainable development priorities.
