IIT-Kanpur launches technology innovation hub to find cyber security solutions
The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K) has launched a technology innovation hub named ‘C3i Hub’ in order to find cybersecurity solutions for anti-drones technologies, intrusion detection systems, block-chain, and cyber-physical systems.
- C3iHub will help in making a vibrant ecosystem of cyber security start-ups fostering world-class innovations.
- An application process was held and after that 13 start-ups and 25 research and development, principal investigators were selected that will set up start-ups cohort in cyber security.
- Such start-ups will focus on the design and development of services and products to safeguard India’s critical infrastructure.
