New and continuing international students can apply for the International Cultural Service Program (ICSP). Selected ICSP students will be offered a partial tuition waiver scholarship. The ICSP scholarship holds a cultural service component which directs students to give presentations about their home country to children, community organizations, UO students, faculty and staff. ICSP students agree to complete 66-80 hours per year of cultural service as required by the program.

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration:
- It covers a Partial tuition waiver scholarship.
- The ICSP scholarship can be renewable every year to completion of a UO degree, provided the student follows the requirements of the ICSP program.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be admissible or fully admitted to the University of Oregon. New students must apply for admission to the UO for Fall 2024 by January 15, 2024. To apply for admission click here.
- Applicants can’t be U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or eligible to receive U.S. federal financial assistance.
- Applicants must demonstrate sufficient financial resources besides the scholarship and meet the minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA requirement.
The following criteria are used to select the successful candidate:
- Demonstrated financial need
- Experience participating in cultural activities
- Demonstrated performance and presentation skills
- Strong academic records
- Strong communication skills

- Get your email for an invitation to enter the UO Scholarship Dashboard which occurs within a week of submitting your application for admissions.
