ICC Hall of Fame: Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Charlotte Edwards and Abdul Qadir inductedThe International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the latest legends Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Charlotte Edwards, and Abdul Qadir who join the prestigious list of cricketing greats that make up the ICC Hall of Fame. West Indies great Shivnarine Chanderpaul, England Women’s team legend Charlotte Edwards and Pakistan legend Abdul Qadir received inductees number 107, 108, and 109 respectively.

ICC Hall of Fame: Shivnarine Chanderpaul

  • Shivnarine Chanderpaul is a West Indies cricketer who made his debut against England in March 1994 at 19 and quickly started to excel against opposition bowlers. he played 164 Test matches and scored 11,867 runs at an average of 51.37. he also presented 268 ODIs and made 8,778 runs at an average of 41.60.

ICC Hall of Fame: Charlotte Edwards

  • Charlotte Edwards is an England Women’s team legend and began her international journey as a 16-year-old. she holds a world-record unbeaten 173 against Ireland in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in Pune.
  • She has the 2nd-highest number of half-centuries in ODIs.
  • She played 23 Test matches and scored 1,676 runs at an average of 44.10
  • She played 191 ODIs and scored 5,992 runs at an average of 38.16.
  • She played 95 T20Is and scored 2,605 runs at an average of 32.97.

ICC Hall of Fame: Abdul Qadir

  • Qadir was a Pakistan player and passed away in 2019 at the age of 63. he was renowned for outfoxing some of the greatest batters in the game with his dynamic action and majestic variation.
  • He made the national record for figures of 9-56 v England at Lahore in 1987.
  • He played 67 Test matches for the country and took 236 wickets at an average of 32.80.
  • He played 104 ODIs and took 132 wickets at an average of 26.16.
