In 1988, Hyatt designated the Hyatt Hotels Fund for Minority Lodging Management Students Scholarship program, aimed at supporting minority students completing a degree in hotel management. The program is offered to any minority student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in hotel management at a college or university in the United States.
