  • The Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan has been chosen as new chairman of the World Health Organisation’s (WHO) Executive Board. Harsh Vardhan will take charge from 22 May 2020 and he is going to take place of Dr. Hiroki Nakatani of Japan, Dr Hiroki Nakatani is serving as Chairman of the WHO Executive Board at present.
