Green Mobility Introduced by IAF– IAF has inducted a fleet of Tata Nexon Electric Vehicles to achieve a reduction in carbon footprint and in keeping with Gol’s initiative on the introduction of green mobility. on 15 November 2022, A flag-off ceremony was held at Air Force Headquarters, Vayu Bhawan. Air Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, Chief of the Air Staff flagged off the first batch of 12 electric vehicles.
- Indian Air Force will enhance the usage of electric vehicles in a progressive manner by procuring e-vehicles against downgraded conventional vehicles.
- The first batch of electric cars introduced is all set to deploy in Delhi NCR units for performance monitoring and analysis.
