India-US joint military exercise ‘Yudh Abhyas’ starts on November 16– The 18th edition of the India-US joint training exercise “Yudh Abhyas 22″ will be held in Uttarakhand from November 16th, 2022 between India and the USA. “Yudh Abhyas 22″ aims to exchange best practices, tactics, techniques, and procedures between the armies of the two countries. The 17th edition of the Indo – US joint training exercise “YUDH ABHYAS 21” was held in Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Alaska (USA) in October 2021.
- US Army soldiers from the 2nd Brigade of the 11th Airborne Division and Indian Army soldiers from the ASSAM Regiment will become part of this exercise.
- The exercise aims to share their broad experiences and enhance techniques through information exchange.
