The government approved projects for developing sewerage infrastructure in the Ganga basin during the 46th meeting of the executive committee of the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG). the worth of the projects is around Rs 2,700 crore. 12 pertain projects are related to the development of sewerage infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, and West Bengal.
- The projects will be implemented in collaboration with Patanjali Research Institute (PRI) & Patanjali Organic Research Institute (PORI), Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
