Gordon Brown appointed as WHO ambassador for Global Health Financing
The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced to appoint the formal Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Mr. Gordon Brown its ambassador for Global Health Financing, on September 20, 2021.
- He has mobilized world leaders to commit an additional $1.1 trillion amount to restore credit, growth, and jobs to help the world economy through the global financial crisis.
- Brown will support WHO’s work to create global awareness regarding the great need for sustained global health financing as a ambassador.
