Dr Jitendra Singh to inaugurate the 7th edition of India International Science festival

Union Minister Shri Dr Jitendra Singh will inaugurate the 7th edition of the India International Science festival, IISF at Panaji, Goa. the festival will be conducted from 10th December to 13th December 2021.

• IISF will act as a platform for Indian students, scientists and technocrats to get knowledge and ideas.
• IISF will play a role in creating a strategy for rural India through the advancement of Science and Technology.
• It will also support flagship programmes by the Central govt such as ‘Swach Bharat Abhiyan’, Swasth Bharat Abhiyan ‘Make in India’, ‘Digital India’, ‘Smart Villages’, ‘Smart Cities’ ‘ NamamiGange’, ‘Unnath Bharat Abhiyan’.

• The Theme of the India International Science Festival is “AzadiKaAmritMahotsav” – celebrating Creativity, Science, Technology and Innovation for a prosperous India.

About India International Science Festival (IISF)

• India International Science Festival (IISF) is conducted by the Ministry of Science & Technology and the Ministry of Earth Sciences and VijnanaBharati (VIBHA).
• In 2015, the first IISF Festival was held and in 2021 in order to celebrate science.
