Digital Life Certificate for Central Government Pensioners and EPFO ​​Pensioners

The Department of Posts provides a platform for the submission of Life Certificates in digital mode through India Post Payments Bank for the Pensioners of the Central Government and EPFO at their doorsteps through Postman.

  • Central Government Pensioners / EPFO Pensioners will have to submit their Annual Life Certificate from 1st November 2022 onwards.
  • The pensioners can submit their digital Life Certificates through Jeevan Pramaan using biometric authentication, with a service charge of Rs.70/-.
  • Pensioners can also generate their digital life certificate through their area postmen within a few minutes by providing details like their Aadhaar number, mobile number, PPO number, pension account details, and biometric authentication.
  • The India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) was started on September 01, 2018, and functions under the Department of Posts.
