26 % of world’s population does not have safe drinking water

26% of the world’s population does not have safe drinking water and 46% lack access to safely managed sanitation, as per the report published by UNESCO at the UN 2023 Water Conference in New York. The global urban population facing water scarcity may double from 930 million in 2016 to 1.7 to 2.4 billion people in 2050. due to the raising incidence of extreme and prolonged droughts.

MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled State Youth Policy and Youth Portal

Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched the State Youth Policy and a Youth Portal. the State Level Youth Commission will be reconstituted by April 5th, 2023. Chouhan also announced the implementation of the Mukhya Mantri Yuva Kaushal Earning Scheme. an amount of at least Rs 8,000 will be given to the youth every month on the basis of learning and earning. Khelo MP Youth Games will be held every year.

Rajasthan passes RTH Bill, is the first Indian State

Prasadi Lal Meena (Minister of Medical & Health, Rajasthan) informed that the earlier postulated RTH Bill has been passed at the Assembly. The Right to Health Bill was first introduced in September 2022. Rajasthan has become the first state in India to pass a manifesto in the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly. every citizen of the state will take access Out Patient Department (OPD) and In-Patient Department (IPD) services at all hospitals or public healthcare facilities.

World Cup Shooting Competition 2023

The International Shooting Sports Federation- ISSF World Cup Shooting Championship was inaugurated on 21st March 2023 in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. India won silver and bronze in the mixed team category at ISSF Pistol/Rifle World Cup 2023. The air pistol mixed team pair of Varun Tomar and Ritham Sangwan received the silver and the pair of Rudranksh Patil and R Narmada Nithin received the bronze.
