Railways to launch Puri-Gangasagar Divya Kashi Yatra, from Pune

Railways will start the Puri – Gangasagar Divya Kashi Yatra by Bharat Gaurav Tourist train from Pune under Dekho Apna Desh and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Scheme. The ten days tour will cover the religious destinations of Puri, Kolkata, Gaya, Varanasi and Prayagraj. The tour will cover various important religious destinations such as Jagannath Temple, Konark Temple, Lingraj Temple, Kali Bari, Vishnu Pad Temple and Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

First G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank governors meeting to begin in Bengaluru

The First G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors (FMCBG) meeting will be held in Bengaluru. The two-day meeting, under the G20 Indian Presidency, will be jointly headed by Union Finance Minister Smt Nirmala Sitharaman and the Governor, of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Dr Shaktikanta Das.


Winners of “Samajh Sansad ki” competition organized at kota-Bundi parliament constituency in Rajasthan

The winners of the “Samajh Sansad ki” competition, held on the initiative of Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla at the Kota-Bundi parliament constituency in Rajasthan will visit Parliament between April 30 and 10 May. The “Samajh Sansad ki” competition aims to strengthen democratic values and constitutional ideals among the youth.

Manipur observes Khongjom Day

Khongjom Day is observed on April 23rd remembering the battle fought in the 1891 Anglo-Manipuri War. on this day, Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh and Governor Ms Anusuiya Uikey paid tributes to the heroes at the event held at Kheba Ching at Khongjom in Thoubal district.

6-year-old cheetah dies in Kuno national park in Madhya Pradesh

A six-year-old cheetah, named Uday, died in Kuno national park in the Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh. Uday was brought to Kuno National Park along with 11 other cheetahs from South Africa. Uday is the 2nd cheetah to die at the Kuno National Park in a month. Sasha, who brought in the first batch of cheetahs from Namibia, died of renal failure.


BJP appoints Rajeev Bindal as party’s Himachal Pradesh president

The BJP President JP Nadda elected Rajeev Bindal as the party State President of Himachal Pradesh and Siddharthan has been appointed as the party General Secretary, Organisation in the State. Mr Nadda has appointed Pawan Rana as the party General Secretary, of the Organisation of Delhi BJP unit.

  • The theme for the National Panchayati Raj Day 2023 is ‘Sustainable Panchayat: Building Healthy, Water Sufficient, Clean & Green Villages.’
