PM MITRA Mega Textile Parks Will Boost Textile Sector With State-Of-The-Art Infra
Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that PM MITRA mega textile parks will be established in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. the parks will help in boosting the textiles sector in the country in line with the 5F (Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign) vision.

- The scheme was launched to realise the prime minister’s vision of building an Aatmanirbhar Bharat and to position India strongly on the global textiles map.
- PM MITRA parks aim to help the country in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 9 — ‘Build resilient infrastructure, promote sustainable industrialization and foster innovation’.

Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport received the award for the Best Airport in India and South Asia, as per the report released by the international air transport rating organisation Skytrax.
