Educational Qualifications for Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2024

The candidate should possess the essential qualification as on the Closing date of
submission of application.
(i) Graduate or its equivalent from a recognised University and
(ii) Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) (by whatever name known) of not
less than 02 years duration recognised by NCTE.
(iii) Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted in accordance with the
Guidelines framed by NCTE.
Note: In view of the DOPT letter of 25.11.2019 candidate shall fulfil the condition
regarding ICT as under:

“Certificate of ICT skill course i.e. course on computer concepts (CCC) 80 hours from a
Govt. recognized institutions OR a reputed institution which is an ISO 9001 certified
OR Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Course (DOEACC) of Govt. of

India OR from NIELIT and its authorized institutions at the time of their
appointment.”
This condition must be satisfied before issuing of appointment letter.

Age Limit for Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2024:

The age of the candidates should be a Minimum of 21 years and a Maximum of 37 years as of 1st January 2024

The Pay Matrix for the post of JBT is Rs.9300-34800+Grade Pay Rs.4200 (Level -VI) notified by Chandigarh Administration, Finance Department (Accounts Branch) vide notification no. 7000/15/8-F&PO(7)/2023/4354 dated 29.03.2023.

Selection Process for Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2024

Selection Criteria
a) Merit list for selection will be prepared on the basis of total marks obtained in
Objective Type Test. One objective type tests of 150 Marks will be conducted.
Qualifying marks for test will be 40% for all candidates. No interview will be
conducted.
b) Written test consisting of Multiple-choice questions will be conducted as under:

Application Fee for Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2024:

Applications can be submitted only ‘ONLINE” from 24.01.2024 (11.00 AM onwards) to 19.02.2024 (upto 5.00 PM) with non-refundable fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- in case of SC candidates). However, last date to deposit the fee is 22.02.2024 (upto 02.00 PM). Persons with disability are exempted for payment of fee as per instructions issued by Govt. of India.

How to Apply for Chandigarh Administration Recruitment 2024:

Please register your application by filling the form through the following link. The last date for registration would be 19th February 2024 fill the form before these date. After submission of online application, registration form will be generated. Candidate has to take out two printouts of the registration form and the same has to be brought on the date of verification of documents (if name exists in Merit list) along with original and photo copy of all documents. Print out of online application is NOT to be submitted either personally or through post.
