The Power Ministry has introduced the Electricity (Rights of Consumers) Rules 2020. this new rule will make consumers empower to get reliable services and quality electricity.
- On 21st December 2020, The Power and New and Renewable Energy Minister Shri R K Singh have announced the Electricity Rules 2020.
- As per the rule, the new connection will be released and modification, meter arrangement, Billing and Payment will be included.
- The distribution will supply 24×7 power to all consumers.
