Centre begins a multi-stakeholder platform named YuWaah

Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports has signed an agreement with the United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF) in order to set up a global multi-stakeholder platform YuWaah in the country. The Union Minister of State (IC) for Youth Affairs and Sports Kiren Rijiju shared this information among people.

YuWaah

  • It will provide support to young people by offering entrepreneurship classes, both online and offline, with successful entrepreneurs and experts. so that, they will be able to make an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • It will increase young people skills such as digital skills, life skills, through online and offline channels.
  • It will help in creating economic opportunities in order to connect young people with employment opportunities and will make pathways to connect them with jobs or self-employment.
  • It will help in offering career guidance support to youngsters with the help of a career portal and through job-readiness and self-exploration sessions.
