Cabinet approved Mechanism for Procurement of Ethanol

The Union Cabinet has approved the Mechanism for the public sector oil companies as a result they can procure ethanol.

Now, the ethanol rates which is taken from sugarcane-based raw material, is raised for the forthcoming sugar cane season. the season is between December 2020 and November 2021.
Along with it, the prices of ethanol (C heavy molasses, B heavy molasses) are also hiked up.
The rate is increased by almost 2 to 3 rupees per litre.
