  • On the occasion of World Environment Day, The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh State YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has started off an Online waste exchange website of Andhra Pradesh Environment Management Corporation (APEMC).
  • due to this, AP has been as 1st State in India that Started a waste exchange website. The APEMC platform will ensure to protect environment by covering 100 per cent safe disposal of toxic wastes, proper trackings, scrutiny as well as audit of wastes.
  • Andhra Pradesh Will focus on six (6) ‘R’s they are : Reduce, Refurbish, Reuse, Recycle, Redesign and Remanufacture. government set up this platform because there needed to be an appropriate system for the scientific disposal of the waste generated by the many companies in the state.
