AL/MS Section AWWA Scholarship – Eligibility Criteria
Follow the requirements for applying for the Program:
To apply for this scholarship, you must be from Alabama or Mississippi and aspiring to pursue careers in the industry. You will also need to be sponsored by an individual member of this section of the AWWA.

- Two (2) Letters of Support or recommendation preferably from the sponsoring utility, individual member or academic advisor
- Academic applicants only, transcripts of education and proof of student status.

Application Process
To apply for the program, you will have to submit your application.
The application process will consist of your resume, an essay with a personal statement, and perspectives for the future. Applicants must submit two letters of recommendation from their sponsor or academic advisors and their grade transcripts.
Selection Process
Applications will be considered based on a solid sponsor provided, your essay which includes some concrete goals and plans for the future.
