The UNDP- United Nations Development Programme has released a report regarding the Human Development Index 2020. as per the index, India has got 131st place out of 189 nations. the index is based on a country’s health, standards of living and education.
- The report also highlights Indian’s life expectancy was 69.7 years in 2019. on the other hand, Bangladesh and Pakistan’s life expectancy were 72.6 years and 67.3 years respectively.
- Along with it, Bhutan is at 129th place and Bangladesh is at 133rd place. Nepal and Pakistan are at 142th and 154th place.
