Zakat Foundation Community Service Scholarship 2024 – Overview

Eligibility Criteria And Qualifications

You must follow the requirements to be eligible to apply for a scholarship:

• Must be a high school senior graduating entering a 2- or 4-year college
• States do you reside in: California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia
• Must have completed high school in your respective state
• Must have been heavily involved in community service throughout high school
• Must be US Citizens/Residents Only

Application Process

Here are the simple steps to apply. The application deadline to apply is May 15, 2024.

Step 1 – Fill out our application.

Step 2 – Write a 500-word essay about the following prompt:

• “Community Service takes on many forms. Tell us about your relationship with your community and how it has affected your current and future involvements in community service.”

Step 3 – Share the link with your references and have them complete your letter of recommendation.

Selection Process

The Zakat Foundation Volunteer category and the Zakat Foundation Community Service Volunteer category are used to sort applicants for the scholarship. You must be residents of California, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Texas, Florida, or Pennsylvania for both categories, have completed high school in their respective states.
