The Ministry of Tourism launched a 24×7 Multi-Lingual Tourist Info-Helpline on the toll-free number 1800111363 or on a short code 1363, aimed at offering support service in terms of information relating to Travel in India and offering appropriate guidance to tourists in distress while traveling in India.
- The toll-free service has been introduced in 12 Languages including 10 international languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic), Hindi, and English for domestic and foreign tourists.
- 24×7 Toll-Free Multi-Lingual Tourist Help Line aims to provide information relating to travel and tourism in India to domestic and international tourists.
- This Toll-Free 24×7 multi-lingual Tourist Helpline has been declared the winner of the Outlook Traveller Award 2017 for “Best New Tourism Initiative”.
