National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi is organising “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav-22nd Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2022” from 16th July to 14th August 2022. Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Culture, Government of India, Shri. Arjun Ram Meghwal, Ms Malini Awasthi, Padma Shree Awardee, renowned Indian folk singer, and Shri. Arvind Kumar and the Director, of the Ministry of Culture, inaugurated the event.
- 22nd Bharat Rang Mahotsav 2022 is being celebrated under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

- It aims to showcase incidents and raise awareness about unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle who have not made it into India’s history.
- The tribal people were brutally tortured and killed in Maangarh in 1913.
