15th President of India: Draupadi Murmu – Draupadi Murmu has been appointed as the 15th President of India, she is a daughter of a tribal family coming from a very ordinary house in Odisha. The Indian Presidential Election 2022 was the 16th presidential election which was held in India on July 18th, 2022. after being elected as the 15th President of India, Murmu has become India’s first woman tribal president.
- Draupadi Murmu also becomes the 2nd woman to hold the post after Pratibha Patil.
- She will replace president Ram Nath Kovind whose’s term will end on 24 July 2022.
