Venezuelan President appoints PDVSA head Pedro Rafael Tellechea as new oil minister – On 21st March 2023, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro appointed Pedro Rafael Tellechea, the head of the state oil company PDVSA, as the country’s new oil minister. A Former Minister, Tareck El Aissami, resigned following the arrest of several government officials and judges in connection with the graft scam.
