Tamil Nadu introduce Incentive scheme for cultivating vegetables
- The Tamil Nadu state Govt has drawn up an new incentive scheme/ Yojana for the cultivation of vegetables during the off-season. as per yojana, a farmer will be able to get an incentive of ₹2,500 per hectare if he/she increases vegetables during the off-season during an extent of up to two (2) hectares.
How to apply for incentive
- A farmer can apply for it through Uzhavan app and they will have another option to connect with local officials of the Horticulture Department.
