Sri Lankan Cricketer Tharanga Paranavitana retires from cricket
- The Test cricket player of Sri Lanka team Tharanga Paranavitana has decided to take retirement from international cricket.
- He has played as an opening batsman for the Sri Lankan team and also played a role as an off-break bowler.

- He made his debut against Pakistan in February 2009 and played 1st Test Match for Sri Lanka and in November 2012, he played his last game of the career against New Zealand in Colombo.
- He scored 1,793 runs with an average of 41.94 and played 32 matches for National team.
