Narcotics, Opium and Dangerous Drugs Prohibition Bill has come into effect in Sri Lanka from 24 November 2022. the government of Sri Lanka will provide the death punishment or life imprisonment can be given for the possession or sale of more than 5 grams of ice-type drug.
