Public Affairs Index 2020 Kerala tops
As per the PAI – Public Affairs Index 2020, Kerala state has been as the best – governed state with 1.388 in India and the Public Affairs Centre has released this index.
- Followed by Tamil Nadu (0.912), Andhra Pradesh (0.531) & Karnataka (0.468) go the 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in the index in terms of governance.
- On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Bihar state remained at bottom of the ranking with -1.461, -1.201 and -1.158 respectively.
- In the small states, Goa got 1st place with (1.745), followed by Meghalaya (0.797) and Himachal Pradesh (0.725) got the 2nd and 3rd place in the index.
- Manipur (-0.363), Delhi (-0.289) & Uttarakhand (-0.277) state were shown as The worst performers and were given negative points.
- However, in the category of UTs, Chandigarh becomes the best – governed union territory with (1.05) and followed by Puducherry (0.52) & Lakshadweep (0.003) achieved the next positions.
