NCPCR launches training module for Child Welfare Committees

National Commission for Protection of Child Rights ( NCPCR) launches the “Training Modules for the Child Welfare Committees (CWCs)Protocols for Restoration and Repatriation of Children” and GHAR – GO Home and Re-Unite (Portal for Restoration and Repatriation of Child) on the occasion of World Children’s Day on 20th November 2022.

  • GHAR – GO Home and Re-Unite (online Portal for Restoration and Repatriation of Child) was also introduced to provide training to members and officials of the child welfare committees and District’s Child Protection Units for the proper implementation of Juvenile Justice Rules.

About NCPCR 

  • NCPCR is a statutory body that has been formed under Section 3 of the Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CPCR) Act, 2005 to protect child rights and other related matters in the country.
  • The Commission aims to monitor the proper and effective implementation of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015, and its Rules; the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Right to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009.
