National Portal for Transgender Persons
The Social Justice and Empowerment Minister has commenced the “National Portal for Transgender People“. it was begun in Vadodara, Gujarat. along with it, it is e-inaugurated the “GarimaGreh: A Shelter Home for Transgender People“.
- Before two months ago, the Notice of the 2020 Transgender People (Protection of Rights) Rules was made by Govt and now, the national portal has been released in the country.
- The transgender people will be able to obtain certificates and ID cards digitally.
- they could get these cards from anywhere and there will no physical interface.
