The origins of tea are associated back to 2737 B.C., when the Chinese Emperor, Shen Nong, found the miraculous tea. The tea was made by accident.
The tea was named “Kombucha” after a man named Dr. Kombu carried the beverage to the Japanese Emperor Inyoko during his travels. The tea was popular, and the term “cha” was added to Dr. Kombu’s name. The term “cha,” means “tea” in Japanese.
