Veteran sports administrator, Narinder Batra has resigned as President of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), President of the International Hockey Federation (FIH), as well as a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) due to “personal reasons”.
- Batra assumed charge of the IOA for the first time in 2017.
- Batra became an IOC member in 2019 and later became a member of the Olympic Channel Commission.
- Mr Batra became president of FIH in 2016 and received the position last year for a second term.
