Narendra Tomar took charge of Ministry of Food Processing Industries
On 23rd Sept 2020, The Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has taken charge as the Minister of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI). The Ministry will decrease the wastage at all stages in the food processing chain with the help of developing infrastructure.
- Ministry will help to attract Research & Development (R&D) in food processing for product and process development.
- The ministry works for improving package policy support and providing support for the creation of Infrastructure.
