Mikey Hothi has been unanimously appointed as the mayor of Lodi city in northern California and becomes the first Sikh to hold the top position in the city’s history. The newly-elected councilwoman Lisa Craig nominated Hothi. He represents the council’s 5th district and has served as vice mayor this past year under mayor Chandler.
- Hothi is graduated from Tokay High School in 2008.
