Kiren Rijiju begins Fit India Youth Clubs initiative –

  • Kiren Rijiju, Minister of Youth and Sports Federation, launched the “Fit India Youth Club” initiative. The Fit Youth Club of India is a national plan to promote the fitness of every citizen. The plan envisages using the power of youth across the country to raise public awareness of the relevance of fitness.
  • According to the plan, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan and the National Service Plan, Boy Scouts and Guides, NCC and other youth organizations will be registered in every region of the country as ” Indian Fitness Youth Club”, therefore, the Indian Fitness Youth Club will combine fitness and voluntary spirit in a unique way.
  • Each member of the Indian Youth Club of India will attract people to take 30 to 60 minutes of fitness activities every day. The Indian Fitness Youth Club will launch the “Indian Fitness Free Run” activity, which is one of its first initiatives.
