Kiran Mazumdar Shaw receives EY World Entrepreneur of the year
The Chairperson, Founder and Managing Director of Biocon, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw is named for the EY World Entrepreneur 2020. The EY World Entrepreneur award will be given for her contribution to improving universal access to affordable life-saving medicine and thus transforming the world.
before it, Uday Kotak and Narayana Murthy has received this prestigious award. she is only the second woman to earn this award. as first person, Olivia Lum of Hyflux Limited (Singapore ) received the title in 2011.
