In the Panchayats election, BJP party is leading with 5,255 panchayat seats and followed by Congress is at 3,090 seats. on the other hand, JD(S) is at 1,565 seats at 2 pm. the counting of the votes begins at 8 am on Wednesday for 5,728 Gram Panchayats seats in Karnataka.
- The Polls were organized between 22 December 2020 and 27 December 2020. 2,22,814 candidates have participated in the election in which 8,074 candidates were elected unopposed. there are 2.94 lakh voters.
- In the first phase election, 82% of votes were conducted and the second phase elections were held on Sunday. the elections include 2,709 village panchayats of Karnataka.
