Manoj Sinha, who is serving as Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir UT, has introduced an online portal named SPARROW. the SPARROW portal will be for Jammu & Kashmir Administrative Service Officers (JKAS). SPARROW stands for Smart Performance Appraisal Report Recording Online Window.

About SPARROW system –

  • The SPARROW system is going to take advantages to almost 1289 officers. it will bring more transparency and prevent loss of Appraisal Reports (APR) during the transition. along with it, it will ensure better monitoring and timely completion of performance appraisals of JKAS officers.
  • J&K e-Governance Agency will receive support from the National Informatics Centre and General Administration Department in order to implement the project.
  • Due to the Sparrow System, One can submit APR from any location of the state and at any time.
