Jal Jeevan Mission Annual Action Plan
The Central Govt has passed Jal Jeevan Mission Annual Action Plan for Bihar State. under this plan, Bihar has been provided 100 per cent coverage of all households with functional tap water connections by the year 2020-21. The Ministry of Jal Shakti has approved Jal Jeevan Mission Annual Action Plan.
- The Bihar State govt has decided to provide tap connections to its remainings 1.50 Crore households in the year 2020-21.
- Along with it, Indian Govt has sanctioned Rs.1832.66 Crore for this plan during 2020-21.
- Bihar state has already made a roadmap to implement the target.
- Bihar Govt is paying a special attention to provide 100 per cent of Functional Household Tap Connections (FHTCs) in Aspirational districts, quality-affected habitations, and SC/ST villages across the state.
