Injeti Srinivas as chairman of IFSCA
- Injeti Srinivas has been chosen as new and 1st chairman of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA). he will serve for the period of three years. he is IAS-officer from 1983-batch. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has given approval for his appointment.
- Before it, he was serving as a member each nominated from RBI, IRDAI, SEBI and PFRDA.
About International Financial Services Centres Authority:
- The finance ministry established IFSCA on 27th April. it aimed to regulate all financial services in International Financial Services Centres (IFSCs) in the nation.
- The main working of authority is to regulate financial products like securities, deposits or contracts of insurance, financial services, and financial institutions.
