- Neil Alden Armstrong was an American astronaut and aeronautical engineer who became the first person to walk on the Moon.
- He was born on August 5, 1930 and died on August 25, 2012 (Age 82) in Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Also, He worked as a Naval avaitor, test pilot, and university professor.
- In July 1969, he walked on the Moon and became the first astronaut. he spent two and a half hours outside the spacecraft while Michael Collins remained in lunar orbit in the Command/Service Module When Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface
