ICRA Slashes India’s GDP Forecast by 0.5% to 10.5% in FY22
The domestic rating agency ICRA has slashed India’s GDP forecast by 0.5 per cent or 2021-22 and has estimated the economy will grow 10 – 10.5% for the FY2021-22.
- earlier was 10-11 per cent estimated.
- The reason for this downward revision in the forecast can be due to the lockdowns and restrictions which are being imposed once again due to surging COVID-19 cases.
