Hungary elects first-ever female president – The Hungarian parliament has appointed Katalin Novak as president of Hungary. Katalin Novak is a close ally of Prime Minister Viktor Orban and become the EU member’s first-ever female president.
- Novak will replace Janos Ader who will end his term on May 10th, 2022.
